About The Weir on tunnel lake
Location and Fishing
At The Weir on Tunnel Lake you will have direct access to the waters of Tunnel Lake and the Mississagi River. A renowned walleye fishery, you will have the opportunity to fish miles and miles of lake and river. Nearby there are dozens of lakes offering trout, bass, northern pike to keep you busy on the water. Head up the highway and try your hand at fly fishing trout in the river. When you are done your day of outdoor activity, come home to fireplaces, a wood fired sauna plus all the comforts of home in our newly renovated cottages.
Our Properties
We have two recently renovated cottages ready for you! With all the standard appliances (stove, fridge, TV, oven, microwave, and BBQ) new and ready. Each cottage has a private deck and fire pit for some good music and smore's! The cottages are equipped with electric heat and a propane fireplace for an evening warmup after a day of ice fishing in the winter. The cottages are on the grid with free and fast Wifi for guest use.
Our Services
In addition to the cottages, we have boat rentals available for an extra cost. They can be rented per day or per week. Kayaks and paddle boards available for guest use. A wood-fired sauna available on site for all guests.
